    Beyond Mindfulness Series:

Cultivating Pure Authenticity: The Seven Factors of Awakening

Seven Thurs, July 8 to Aug 19; from 7-8:30 PM (PST)

    PLUS 30 minutes guided meditations

Mondays & Fridays 7:30 AM; PST

    Overview:

Authenticity is misunderstood. This is because, we live in a society where most people believe they are right and perhaps authentic when they speak their minds. But Authenticity is much more than that, or it can have levels of purity. As Rumi, the great poet and philosopher, puts it, “Truth was a mirror that fell and broke into a hundred pieces. Everyone took a piece of it and thought they had the truth.”

The Broken Pieces of Mirror represent personal biased truths. Personal biased truths can be sharp, capable of harming self and others. We pick up a broken piece of the truth and believe it is the whole truth because we are unaware, uneducated about these matters. We are influenced by our hurts, attachments, and our stories and perceptions.

    Our 2021 Beyond Mindfulness Series

Provides deeper, richer Mindfulness and wisdom training with the theme of authenticity.  Authenticity is the core of awakening. An integrated, unified self. A self that is not hindered by its own ideas and limitations. One that is free to express, live as one desire without harming others along the way. It’s not a selfish, egoistic self, rather a well-refined wise, compassionate heart who loves oneself fully and equally all others.

This is a work-in-progress, as many of you have been traveling this road with us. Others are welcomed to join in along the way. Everyone will cultivate their own authentic self in their own continuum of progress.
