Mindful Kid & Teen classes teach students how to listen, pay attention and be calm.
“Pay attention!” “Calm down!” “Listen!” These are the directions children often hear from adults. But do your children know how? Mindfulness is the how.
Our Mindful Kid & Teen classes teach children and teens the simple yet profound tools of managing emotions, paying attention and creating a greater sense of calm. Through a variety of activities and discussions, children will learn what feelings are, where they come from and where they go. When a child’s ability to concentrate is increased there is improvement in school, sports, and other activities( are increased). In short, scientific studies have demonstrated, children who practice mindfulness are happier, healthier and more successful.
Our Mindful Kid & Teen classes are (all) about gaining the experience of Mindfulness and experiencing, firsthand, its benefits. Rather than taking “just another class,” our students are given tools they can use for life. A very common reaction from our adult students is, “I wish I had learned this as a kid.”

What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is the ability to feel one’s feelings and emotions without dramatizing nor minimizing their meaning. Being present, aware and attentive, responding rather than reacting.
Research has shown Mindfulness:

- Promotes self-reflection and self-calming
- Improves impulse control
- Develops natural conflict resolution skills
- Improves self-esteem
- Supports “readiness to learn”

Please Note: Classes are divided into three sections and are open to all levels of knowledge. However, there are no pre-requisites to enter any of the sections below. As the number of students grow in the year to come we will consider offering all sections in the same day of the week to keep it consistent. We hope to be of service to as many people as we possibly can. It’s important to tell your friends about these classes, as we will not be able to continue offering them without enough students enrolled. We also highly recommend that parents take our adult courses to be able to manage your own stress and so you may all be Mindful at home.

If you are experiencing true financial hardship and unable to pay the full price please write a letter to Info@PerfectlyHere.org and ask for part scholarship and or work-exchange opportunities.
Class Refunds must be requested 7 days in advance of the first session of the class and will be assessed a $25 administrative fee. We regret that we cannot give refunds after this date. After this time, we may allow some of the fee as credit towards future classes. Credit will only be good for 90 days from the date of the class. Refunds should be requested by emailing email@example.com
Perfectly Here reserves the right to cancel classes due to low enrolment. At which time, we will notify registrants and issue full refund.
If you do not show for any reason without prior notice you will not qualify for refund.
