Mindfully Retreat to Create Joy and Peace, One Breath At a Time. Take the time to practice with like-minded people who are on the same path as you are. Enhance your personal experience of Mindfulness so when things don’t go the way you want them to, you have the capacity to be accepting and peaceful about them. As we Mindfully retreat, we will naturally be less reactive and more responsive. This requires three Mindful steps: First, we find the right teacher—a competent Mindfulness teacher who follows an elder in practice, a guide. Second, we give our attention and dedication to the teachings offered. We investigate for ourselves if those teachings produce good results, modify them as appropriate to increase our happiness and well-being. Third, we attend retreats to deepen our understanding of the practice, help our brain create new neuropathways, or strengthen them to improve our gain. We suffer because our brains have been trained for so long to react to things we don’t like. We can train ourselves to adapt with ease. We Mindfully Retreat and Skillfully create peace, joy, and ease—one breath at a time.

Instructor: Dr. Manijeh Motaghy is the guiding teacher at Perfectly Here. She has 14+ years of practice and training in Mindfulness and Buddhist teachings in the Theravada Thai Forest under The disciples of Ajahn Cha. With a Doctorate in Psychology of Management Consulting and an Inner MBA from NYU, she has created and developed countless Mindfulness programs. She is the founder of California Mindfulness Institute, with a university mode, soon to be announced. She has been teaching the UCLA signature Mindfulness courses, MAPS I & IIs, since 2014. With a compassionate heart, she leads Perfectly Here for the good of humanity.
