Welcome To Beyond Mindfulness Series: 2020

Mindfulness of Life’s Realities For Happiness

    Overview:

Happiness is what all beings seek. Isn’t it? According to our constitution, it is our birth-right to PURSUE HAPPINESS. That’s right! However, by the way our lives are set up, it seems we are constantly pursuing happiness and it’s one step or for most ten steps ahead. We get lost in our lives and suddenly realize aging, sickness and death. Before we hit such states we can take the opportunity to explore some of the teachings of wise teachers who have accomplished happiness and know the secrets of this life we live. Compassionately, they tell us what is really going on and how we can gain steadiness and happiness at any time, in any place and under any circumstance. As our founder and teacher says, “The more I progress in my own spiritual practice, the more I understand that Mindfulness, itself, is not wisdom, kindness, peace nor even happiness. Mindfulness is a suitable space within the mind to develop the states of wisdom, kindness, peace and happiness.” Therefore, whatever content we teach is Mindfulness-based in order to create that space for the student first and then help develop those desirable qualities.
