Global Innovator, Human Rights Advocate, and Sustainability Leader Vincent McNeeley

Vincent McNeeley (he/him) is a senior technologist, award-winning strategist, and best-selling author who brings over 15 years of experience driving innovation and capital to purpose-driven organizations around the world. At the intersection of technology, inclusion, and systems change, Vincent builds ecosystems that fuel impact through ethical design, storytelling, and scalable strategy.

Currently, he leads fundraising, partnership, and sponsorship initiatives for several mission-aligned ventures, including:

  • The GenderCool Project, where he has helped grow corporate partnerships and earned media that reached over 10 million people in the last year around the world, and an additional 4 million in corporate roles, with high-profile collaborations with Netflix, Pixar, The Kelly Clarkson Show, The Advocate, and more.
  • Perfectly Here, a nonprofit teaching mindfulness and trauma healing globally and in underserved communities.
  • Free Lion Productions, where he serves as Executive Producer for a PBS-bound docu-series, is elevating LGBTQ+ stories.
  • EMPWRD AI, where he contributes to product and partnership strategy for a community-trained AI platform grounded in ethical tech for marginalized communities.

Vincent’s legacy in innovation was shaped in his 8 years at VMware, where he led global programs spanning over 85 countries, including transformative partnerships with Apple, the U.S. government, and education systems. As Senior Software Engineer, Senior Technical Program Manager and later Global Co-Lead of PRIDE@VMware, he led high-impact inclusion efforts, scaled one of the world’s largest LGBTQ+ ERGs, and drove the company’s transition to inclusive language standards across product ecosystems. He also matriculated over 1,500 patents through leadership of VMware’s internal innovation programs — fueling the future of tech with inclusion and foresight at its core.

A regular speaker on the future of fundraising, inclusive AI, and community-led systems design, Vincent recently shared AI-powered capital strategies for board leaders at Moss Adams’ Building Better Boards event. He has spoken on global stages including Stanford’s Planet Positive 2030, Metaverse Safety Week, and the Out & Equal Workplace Summit, and he was honored as a finalist in the Out and Equal Outie Awards for Workplace Excellence (their highest honor), won awards for his leadership at VMware with perfect scores in the Human Rights Campaign Equality Index 5 times, Gold in the India Pride Index 3 times, and Gold in the Japan Pride Index 3 times as well, along with placing as a finalist in Auburn University’s inaugural Tiger Cage startup competition.

Proudly Gay, Latino, neurodivergent, and in partnership with a Black boyfriend, Vincent’s leadership is deeply informed by lived experience. He’s committed to building a future where underrepresented communities have the capital, tools, and autonomy to thrive.
