About Living Well with ADHD Retreat

Living well with ADHD requires more than trying harder or knowing what we “should” do. It involves understanding how the ADHD brain works and developing practical skills to direct attention, manage impulses, time, and presence to everyday responsibilities.

This experiential half-day retreat offers ADHD friendly pathways and the opportunity to pause, reconnect, and practice mindfulness-based approaches to greater well-being and self-management. Participants are led through guided mindfulness practices, brief teachings, reflection, and relaxing exercises. We will explore ways to reduce overwhelm, interrupt unhelpful patterns, regulate emotions, strengthen attention, and anchor with greater awareness and self-compassion.

Rather than treating ADHD solely as a collection of deficits, the retreat highlights ADHD/IBNS strengths and how one can harness them in making life and work easier.

Participants will leave with practical tools they can continue using to create more supportive habits, make intentional choices, and live with greater ease and life satisfaction.

No prior mindfulness or meditation experience is necessary.

This retreat is appropriate for adults with ADHD, those who suspect they may have ADHD, and individuals seeking mindfulness-based approaches to ADHD-related challenges. It is educational and experiential and is not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment.
