Overview:

The MLO-Based Resilience Course is a six week course covering important aspect of inner strenght that gives one resilience in the face of difficulty and uncertainty.

What is MLO-Based?

MLO (Mindful Life Optimization) refers to a methodology designed by Dr. Motaghy for human development, transformation, and life optimzation. MLO includes 60+ lessons compiling fundamental and essential perspectives, qualities, skills and capacities that all humans can benefit from. MLO is not only a compilation of lessons, it also includes a five-stage development process called the Human Software Optimization or HSO process. Any learning that is MLO-Based means that the learner benefits from having access to all these essential inner capacities and skills from one source.

What is Resilience?

Resilience is often described as the ability to bounce back after difficulty or to endure and push through while life gets tough.

MLO-Based resilience is more than enduring, pushing through, or returning to how things were. It is the inner capacity for clarity about what is happening, especially when things get tough. This clarity includes experiencing the hardship with a reasonable amount of emotional stability and responding with some level of courage, wisdom, and kindness to oneself and to everyone involved.

This six-week course, MLO 408: MLO-Based Resilience, draws from the Mindful Life Optimization™ lessons and methodology to help you strengthen such essential inner capacities.

Together, we will explore:

  • Awareness and the how to of self-analysis
  • Mental strength and courage
  • Engaing wisely the superior powers of the heart
  • Broadening perspective to the bigger picture of the situation and of life
  • Practical ways to navigate change, uncertainty, and life transitions

Each session includes topics that prime participant’s perspectives, increase their life awareness, and courage to manage difficulties that come from change and transitions more effectively and with greater ease.

Manijeh’s MLO teachings have helped increase accountability with myself, improve in habits/actions regarding our planet and increasingly become a better clinician. Her Life Optimization Method and approach exceed the training and education we’ve received to become therapists. It incorporates more depth into treatment regardless of diagnosis. It helps achieve a healthy happy lifestyle rather than just coping strategies/tools

I’ve taken several of Manijeh’s MLO classes over the years, most recently her Art of Happiness courses and a day-long retreat, and I’ve always found her work genuinely helpful. What I like most is that what she teaches is practical. I can focus better, think more clearly when I’m dealing with something difficult, and I’m more patient with things. I’ve actually noticed those changes in myself.

My children have also taken Manijeh’s classes, and that means a lot to me. I’ve seen them benefit from her work in their own way, and I’m grateful that they’ve had that experience too. It’s one thing for something to help you personally, but it’s another to see your children get something valuable from it as well.

Manijeh is very knowledgeable, but she’s also warm, thoughtful, and easy to connect with. She has a way of explaining things that makes them feel useful in real life rather than abstract or overly complicated. I’m very grateful for everything I’ve learned from her, and I’m especially grateful that my children have had the chance to learn from her too. ~ Lisa Steinmetz

Studying Life Optimization with Manijeh, I’ve become a better leader and manager by integrating qualities of empathy, loving kindness, self-compassion, and equanimity into the workplace. My insomnia, stress, anxieties, and self-doubts have greatly diminished. I feel far more patient, aware and comfortable with myself.
